I've been playing some closed beta of Heros of Newerth to pass the time. Pretty fun game.

We'll use diablohc once the game starts up. I'm with Krush; I'll be ready when it's time. Doubt I'll play as much as I did, though.

Ya but Starcraft 2 hasn't even come out yet. I figure Blizz will release their games in this order: WoW Cataclysm, Starcraft 2, some unannounced WoW expansion, Starcraft 2 expansion(s), Diablo 3. Assuming their major launches are during the summer I'd put D3 at mid-2012 at the earliest.

Yeah you're probably right. Whenever I talk about Diablo 3, one of my Korean friends always brings up SC2 and how it has been delayed for so god damn long, and that is probably their #1 priority, then WoW, then maybe Diablo 3.

I'm still unsure of whether or not I should even play more HC in D2 since the community seems kinda sparse. Plus some of my friends are pussies.

When is the ladder reset? I'm definitely in. I tried playing softcore and it feels like a cheapened version of what we used to play.

There's no date for the reset. Knowing the douchebags at Blizzard, they'll announce it 4 or 5 days in advance and it'll be some moronic day like Tuesday. And instead of giving a definite time, it'll be a ridiculous time frame so we'll have to waste our whole day waiting at the pc so it doesn't happen when we're not expecting it.

two and 3 resets ago, realms went down around noon for ~6 hours. Last reset, they were only down for like 2 hours and we got totally fucked by the early start. We still were first Guardians, though (even though I died in Hell A4 to some nasty Gloam bosspack).

next time we should stick to NM for a few more levels.

Mid 60s, I think. We rushed it because the fucked up reset situation had us playing catch up from the start.

We (I) just needed to be more careful in Hell A4- Gloams were the only way I'd have died because of terrible LR.

I hope D3 doesn't take that long, I don't know if I can make it.
