Curiously enough, I was debating this same idea.
I think I could probably set up a dedicated server.
I also think I know of a site where you can get all the patches in case there is a different version we all wanted to play. |

D2GS does not exist for anything before 1.09. You can not have a server for it. The closest thing to it is Todes' D2Classic mod for 1.09d. It does a great job of replicating 1.06 (pre LoD). |
