I had a level 80+ sorc in xpac, but it occurred to me I rarely played anything other than Barb/Zon. Similarly, I will stick with barb and whatever ranged bow type class exists for D3.

i think i only had one amazon the entire time i played.

i always enjoyed sorc because of tele- just no patience for all the walking. otherwise i guess i had a few more high zons than anything else.

I'm down with the monk, but seems too fragile.

Like I said for d2, barbarian, fighting machine from head to toe!

But at the beginning maybe ranged classes are going to be more viable without proper gear.

Also I can't recall ever having played a Druid or Assassin. Never appealed to me even slightly..

On a random uber nerdy sidenote, any of you who haven't played in a long time ever go back and listen to some of the d2 music?? It's been about 5 years since the last time I played but this brings me right back.. www.youtube.com . . . Right at about 6:40 and beyond I can see myself whooping up on Rakanishu.

I hope d3 can capture some of the immersiveness d2 gave me when I was younger!

The D2 music gives me chills. Good stuff.

D2 soundtrack is amazing. I remember that Blizzard made available for a while to download them for free.

I also liked just teleporting around + having fcr on my sorc because I don't have any time for waiting around! Barbs were basically the same, put points into run speed and WW huge mobs. Paladin too, vigor + hammer.

Nothing else was ever as good. I played these 3 classes for 90% of my time in D2.

I just hope WW is good enough to be a primary attack again. So fun.

I just hope they don't cooldown the whole fucking game. Remember when Firewall was spammable or WW owned. Frozen orb had no CD. That shit was fun. I tried playing D2 on single player with a friend and got tired of firewall...wait 5 seconds or so...firewall. I then went lightning and just spammed the nova + static.

I also forgot how god damn pro you had to be to be HC. I died so many times in single player.
