Yeah, we had a good time for a few months, basically trying to relive the D2 glory days. It was fun enough for me to play through Inferno but after that, the game just didn't keep my interest like D2 did. It was just so drastically different.

when are we doing a ladder reset run on d2 now that we have not done so in forever?

I just checked and ladder resets are every 6 months, last was june 14th, so next possibly mid december?
anyone interested?

It always feels so much harder to coordinate something like this for me these days as opposed to back when I first joined here. While I love doing a run like this with a full committed group. Blizzards lack of commitment to the game is what really draws me away.
The game is in a sad state, I was apparently banned for something so I can't actually use the public chatrooms on D2 anymore. When I tried to contact them they said they can't reverse it. I know I've never cheated in my life and I still own my original disc and box and cd keys and for them to treat me like that just left me not wanting to really deal with them.

So its a love hate relationship. Love Diablo 2. Hate that Blizzard punishes legit players while cheaters run rampant. I feel even resets aren't properly communicated either. I would need ample time before a reset to at least secure some days off if I were to do something like this.

i'm sure i'll get both and play a bit. not so easy with life progressing to play like i used to. have been playing some path of diablo if anyone ever goes on there. haven't run into anyone yet.
