d3 is still getting updates every 3 months, I usually do the initial day run, but skipped a couple including the last, when the update is dumb I don't follow, even if it's just for that opening night

The status of D2 is silly.

Enchant bots in normal are high tech. Many have 2nd chars at lvl 1 so all quests are open. They also can give wps. I found one with a high level BOer, too- jusy go to cats 2 and get lvl 30 BO to go with 4k enchant damage. You can get to level 20 in like 15 minutes.

Then the Chaos and Baal bots running around the clock in NM and Hell. I've seen as many as 4 running together. You don't even have to play the game at this point.

I started a couple of weeks after a reset and people have the rarest shit already. Between jsp and bots, what's even the point?

Theres a big youtube community of singleplayer diablo 2 players now actually. It's kinda crazy. I remember everyone thinking WTF @ open bnet / singleplayers like they were idiots or losers, but yeah at least no one fucks with their game and their characters dont expire in 30 days.
